Siliceous Award for Ceramic Excellence 2023

Siliceous is a national award for excellence and innovation and is held every two years, attracting ceramic artists from around Australia. This year we are joined by Australian Wood Firers United, presenting the inaugural Gwyn Hanssen Pigott Wood Fired Ceramics Award. Gwyn (one of Australia’s most significant ceramic artists) set up her last residence and wood kiln in Ipswich.

Ceramic Arts Queensland is staging the Siliceous Award for Ceramic Excellence 2023 finalists’ exhibition at the Ipswich Community Gallery from 14 October – 5 November. Scroll down to view our calendar of events.
