My journey with clay began in Glen Innes at TAFE in 1974 and is a lifetime commitment.

I have been an active member of the Murwillumbah Pottery Club since 1978 and over the ensuing years have helped to build and fire wood, salt, pit, and raku kilns. There have been many cups of tea enjoyed, many beautiful pots produced and best of all, many wonderful friends made.

I joined the Tweed Unlimited Pottery Group in 1995 as a tutor. It is an enjoyable challenge and very rewarding to observe the therapeutic value of the clay experience as it releases the creative spirit in students. It has also been my privilege to work with children and disabled adults.

I have a wonderful supportive wood chopping husband and we have lived in the Tweed Valley for 37 years and raised our four children here. I gain inspiration for my pots from the beautiful diversity around me.

My pit fired pots reflect the night sky and cosmos. The wood fired pots reflect our Australian landscape with strata of various colour.

Clay takes me everywhere and I am a happy follower.
