Dianne Peach, Ceramic Arts Queensland’s President, officially opened the exhibition and thanked members for contributing to this annual event. She also announced Magaly Martell as this year’s Student/Emerging Artist Prize winner. Magaly is currently a student at Brisbane Institute of Art and will receive a certificate and $100 prize money.
Elemental: CAQ Annual Members’ Exhibition is an opportunity to showcase the skills and talent of our members and in 2021 we saw a record number of members participating and almost 200 works. The exhibition remains open until 24th August and many of the ceramic works are for sale. Below are a small sample of the wonderful works on display.
