Nina Summers

My name is Nina Summers, I was born in Russia and arrived in Australia in 1949. I completed a three year studio ceramics course 1973-1975. I completed an additional one year sculpture course in 1980.
I have taught at the Queensland Potters Association teaching both beginners and advanced students in throwing and hand building. I have also conducted several workshops covering many aspects of ceramics and sculpture.
I belong to the Society of Sculptors Queensland and exhibit my work with them annually. I produce ceramic sculptures, cold casting, marble chips and cement. My work is incorporated in Government House, several commercial organisations and private clients have included my work in their acquisitions.
