A DIY glaze workshop with Jackie Gasson

This workshop is designed to offer beginners and emerging potters an opportunity to learn about making their own glazes from highly respected Sunshine Coast based ceramicist/artist/teacher, Jackie Gasson. Jackie is a renowned presenter of workshops around Australia who inspires others with her broad knowledge of ceramics. She is President and founder of Suncoast Clayworkers.

Attendees will be provided with a base glaze recipe and directions on how to make up the glaze and add colourants. It will cover the different parts of a glaze, application and methods of testing.

• 9.30am-4pm Sunday 5 June
• Brisbane Institute of Art, Grafton St Windsor
• participants will need to bring a notepad and pen
• BYO lunch, morning and afternoon tea provided
