Elemental 2025: Ceramic Arts Queensland’s Annual Exhibition

ELEMENTAL is Ceramic Arts Queensland’s annual member showcase event.  Featuring the ceramic arts from established and emerging artists of its members from throughout Queensland and northern New South Wales the exhibition highlights the diversity of contemporary ceramic art practice, with sculptural work, decorative objects, and functional ware on display.

The exhibition opened on Friday 14 November 2025, at the Metcalfe Gallery, Brisbane Institute of Art (Windsor) and concluded on the 25th November.

This year we welcomed 66 artists with over 300 individual pieces.  The scale and quality of work was astounding and we are very proud to host such a vibrant and expansive collection.  Lots of collectors picked up new pieces and the exhibition was well attended during the two weeks it was up.  We are already in planning stage for next years event so keep an eye out for the call out for Elemental 2026.
