Clay Chat & Morning Tea
Ceramic Arts Qld invites you to join us for a delicious catered morning tea from a local mountain café with fellow ceramic creatives. We welcome ceramic practitioners from emerging to experienced and anywhere in between from South East Qld and northern NSW to talk about all things clay.
There will be a lively panel session and Q&A with professional ceramicists, Larissa Warren (Rat Bag Studios) and Nicci Parry-Jones (PJ Pottery) and CAQ’s Vice President, Chris Dunbar. The discussion will be based around what it means to be a ceramic artist; what things to consider to grow your business and what can Ceramic Arts Qld do to support you in your goals.
This is an excellent chance to network with other potters to share:
- what is working well
- what do you need help with
- what would you’d like to see happen in your region
- where to look for resources
- what skills do you offer
REMEMBER! Bring one of your own handmade cups for a fun CUP SWAP.
While you are up on Tamborine Mountain, you can visit the local artisan galleries, go for a walk in one of the rainforests or indulge in a cosy meal at one of the many restaurants.
All welcome! The event will be held at the Scout Den, 127 Hartley Road, Tamborine Mountain. Tickets are $35 for CAQ members and $45 for non-members.
If you have any dietary restrictions please let us know in advance, email info@ceramicartsqld.org.au
