This annual lecture presented by CAQ is usually a glaze technology based presentation by highly respected ceramic artists. This year’s talk is no exception and will be give by Renton Bishopric, the founder of Pottery in the Planet

During his pottery career of more than 20 years, Renton Bishopric has always remained focused on building his ceramics knowledge and skills base.
Over the years Renton has had the opportunity to work closely with many other potters in Australia and internationally, and has explored a wide variety of clays and firing processes as a result.

His knowledge of the development of domestic ware glazes and the production of high fired stoneware and firing processes, have lead to the unique and market-leading range that he and his team at Pottery For The Planet produce. Renton now lives in Noosa, Queensland and is he excited to share some of his pottery knowledge through this CAQ presentation.
