CAQ Monthly Technical Challenge — Technical Brief 

Challenge Focus:   

Create a ceramic artwork designed specifically for wall display. 

Technical Requirements: 

  • Must include a secure hanging system 
  • Any style, theme, or clay body 
  • Consider weight, balance, and installation 

      Submission Requirements:

      • Open to CAQ Members only
      • Entry Limit: Each member may submit a maximum of 2 entries per month to the monthly challenge.
      • 1 high‑quality image per entry
      • Neutral‑background
      • Submit by 15th September (11:59pm AEST)

      Assessment Criteria:

      • Response to brief
      • Technical execution
      • Creativity
      • Resolution & presentation
