About the Siliceous Award
Ceramic Arts Queensland (CAQ) is the umbrella organisation for potters and ceramic artists in Queensland and northern NSW. The Siliceous Award is recognition of artistic excellence in ceramics, pottery and sculpture.
CAQ is one of Australia’s oldest arts organisations. It has a long and proud history of fostering and supporting our talented clay workers. Over the years, many of our members have gone on to become internationally recognised artists.
